Our Brief Testing:
I’ve completed hundreds of projects with this machine, but I’m running a live embroidery test with the SE1900 to demonstrate you how it works.
After selecting different designs, my colleague asked me to embroider a golf design on a golf towel. So first, I downloaded the design from an online website and unzipped it from my laptop.
After copying the design to USB, I plugged the USB into the machine, and it takes 5-7 seconds to import into the machine. So, you can understand how simple it is to import. Remember, the machine uses DST and PES file format to import designs, and in my opinion, PES will be most suitable.
Then we edit the design and make the necessary changes using the machine’s LCD screen. The display is bright and easy to use. In the editing option, you can make many changes like cropping, rotating, flipping, positioning the design, moving, vertical or horizontal, adding more design, insert, letters between design, etc.
The machine started working as the start button was pressed, and it stopped after the green thread role was completed. After changing the thread color, the machine again started working.
It takes almost 8 minutes to thread the complete design. I removed the jump stitches with embroidery scissors, and the design was completely ready.
My Experience:
It’s tough to evaluate a product only on its specifications. You must understand how it works right out of the box.
Almost I have experience of 3 years to work with this machine, And embroidered over hundreds of different projects on towels, fabrics, garments, hats, etc. I will say that this machine will deliver more than it claims.
It also do sewing, which is a beneficial point if you do regular sewing. As a sewing machine, it performs outstanding, and switching between two modes is very easy.

There are dozens of embroidery designs available, and you can also upload your favorite design via USB. The color screen is super functional and easy to use, where you can edit or preview your design.
Generally, home embroidery machines are limited up to 4×4- inch hoop size, but this machine introduces a change by giving a 5″ X7″ embroidery area. So, you are limited up to small projects.
In short, I am very happy with the machine’s performance and purchase. I will also recommend this product if you are buying it for your home use or for projects within 5×7 inches.
